Stabilise the roller coaster of starting up

A DIY guide to avoiding burnout while you create a freedom life and business.

{Oh, and leave the world a little better than you found it, you game changer, you!}

The Freedom Philosophy is a great book for people new to the entrepreneur world or for those who have not gotten around to reading some of the great self-help, philiosophy or business books of the century.

Stephanie goes though some of the thought leaders of our time ideas, systems and methods to help motivate and encourage you to create a freedom life and business while NOT burning out, as well as what she has learn along her own journey.

Including and not limited too:-

  • Tony Robbins
  • Marie Forleo
  • Bruce Lee
  • Twyla Tharp – The Creative Habit
  • Kundalini Yoga methods
  • Sir Richard Branson
  • Dr Sarah McKay
  • Winston Churchill
  • Mahatma Gandhi
  • Hilary Clinton
  • Srinivas Rao
  • Jim Rohn
  • Marilyn Monroe

If you don’t know who all these people are then this book is a great introduction into their ideas, systems and beliefs. However, in my opinion she did miss some of the greats this book is a great starting point for someone with no previous experience in the entrepreneur or self- help world or who are looking for a quick overview and tips and tricks.

Stephanie has also skillfully positioned some amazing quotes through out the book to help motivate you to take action.

The book takes you through the steps of creating a freedom life and business:-

Included in most chapters of the book are activities to put what is discussed in the book into action. Just reading a book will not change your life or business, but taking the next step and DOING is what will make the change. Stephanie has also included links to resources and references to help you start DOING.

The book is written in a way that gives you an intro into why the chapter / topic is important and Stephanie always sums up the section with a quick overview of what was covered. I did however find the section summaries lacking content or important key points that should have been mentioned so make sure you have a notebook and pen when reading so you can keep your own summary.

Stephanie also includes real life examples from both her own experience and that of other people to help you understand aspects of what she explaining in the book.

Overall I really enjoyed this book even as a someone who has been in business for over 10 years, and has read nearly all the business, self-help and philosophy books on the market. I would love to see this book in print form as the formatting, font and text size made it hard to use on Kindle or iPad as a resource material, vs just a book to read as I feel is the format it has taken. With the formatting I would have loved to see the activities on their own page so you can have them open in front of you and complete them vs just written as if they were apart of a chapter of a entertainment book.

I would love to hear what you think of the book if you have read it or if you can want to recommend or suggest a book for me to do my next book review on.
